The Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival is the most historic celebration of thoroughbred racing, with $41 million in prizemoney on offer across March & April each year.
The Sydney Everest Carnival boasts an impressive $87 million in prizemoney with 10 weeks of the highest quality of racing anywhere in the world. Highlighted by the $20 million TAB Everest & $10 million James Squire Golden Eagle.
International racing is a great addition to Sydney Racing that adds important depth to carnivals & in recent years there have been some International superstars that have experienced success. Highlighted by Obamburumai taking out the 2023 $10 million James Squire Golden Eagle as well as Dubai Honour winning both the Ranvet Stakes & 2023 Queen Elizabeth Stakes. Dubai Honour was ridden by Tom Marquand & prepared by William Haggas – the same formidable combination that famously won the 2020 & 2021 Queen Elizabeth Stakes with Addeybb.
