ATC MEMBERS ELECT TWO DIRECTORS TO BOARD AT ANNUAL AGM

Members of the Australian Turf Club today elected two Directors to join the ATC’s Board at the Club’s Annual General Meeting at Rosehill Gardens.

Annette English joins the Board on a four-year term as a new Director, while Tim Hale SC was re-elected to a second four-year term.

Ms English fills a vacancy left by current Director Angela Belle McSweeney who will serve a maximum eight-year term on the Board, ending in February.

The new ATC Board formally begins on 2 February, 2025.

ATC Chairman Peter McGauran thanked ATC Members for voting in the election and congratulated Ms English and Mr Hale.

“We welcome Annette English as a new Director and as someone with a great passion for racing along with excellent business and legal experience,’’ Mr McGauran said.

“We also congratulate Tim Hale on his re-election, who with fellow current Directors collectively provide a diverse range of skills and a strong commitment to the ATC.

“I also take the opportunity to warmly thank Angela Belle McSweeney as she serves her final weeks and months as a Director.’’

ATC Members were able to vote online and by mail through proxy leading up to the AGM, or in person today.
