The Sydney Everest Carnival returns to Rosehill Gardens for the pinnacle day in the west with Golden Eagle Day

Here are five things to expect on Golden Eagle Day.

1. World Class Racing 

The $10 million James Squire Golden Eagle features the best four-year-olds in action over 1500 metres. The race has attracted runners from overseas including Japan, France, Ireland and Great Britain.

The $3 million Russell Balding sees TAB Everest champ, Bella Nipotina in action up against some of the runners she beat in the $20 million race two weeks ago.

2. Festival of food 

Check some of the delicious options across the racecourse including Eats in the Garden behind the Members Stand, Grand Pavilion and the Exhibition Lawn with a variety of food trucks to cater for everyone.

Multi-platinum DJ and producer Alex K has been lighting up dance floors around the world with his high-energy beats and chart-topping compilations. Catch Alex K live after the last race next to Eats in the Garden for an unforgettable performance!

4. Expect Great Fashion

While celebrating and acknowledging traditional fashion initiatives, the Australian Turf Club aims to embrace both the evolving digital landscape, and the evolution of racewear styling through Fashion Stakes.

Racegoers are encouraged to find a Fashion Stakes mirror or hashtag and post it to their socials with #FashionStakes for a chance to win a range of prizes on the day and feature on the big screen trackside. Add a touch a gold to your outfit.
