Jockeys Launch into Cooking Challenge Ahead of Carnival

The Sydney Everest Carnival is fast approaching and will kick off at Royal Randwick on 21 September with Sydney Surf To Turf Day.

Set to be bigger than ever both on and off the track, two boom jockeys got together to test their skills in another domain. Top chef Hayden Quinn put Zac Lloyd and Tyler Schiller through their paces getting them to cook the perfect dumpling.

“Mine might be better looking, his might be better tasting,” Tyler joked as they prepared a dumpling to impress Hayden Quinn.

The cooking challenge was set on the terrace at the Winx Stand and it will be the place to be this Sydney Everest Carnival.

Home to the fresh new destination – the Peacock Lounge in the Winx Stand at Royal Randwick. For five days only, guests can enjoy premium food and beverage inspired by Sydney’s cult Yum Cha scene with rotating DJ sets to create a party environment. Hayden Quinn’s Prawn and Water Chestnut dumplings will be on offer in the Peacock Lounge during the Sydney Everest Carnival. Entry is free with your ticket.

Stay tuned for more jockey challenges this Sydney Everest Carnival as next up Swans’ star Tom Papley puts Regan Bayliss and Jett Stanley through their paces.
